TRAINING
WORKSHOPS
Porcupine Communications offers
workshops that suit the needs of our clients. In programs
derived from the book, “How
Do You Pet A Porcupine?” and using other material
developed and packaged especially for training, our team
of professionals will assess the needs of your organization
and make solid, informed recommendations as to whether
a one- or two-day workshop will provide the best results.
Ranging from three hours to two days, the workshops help
executives, managers and associates identify their communications
problems and begin the process of solving them. Contracts
can also include Executive & Life Coaching to further
increase the organization’s successful use of the
principles in Roger’s book.
The objectives of the
workshops are to give every participant a solid understanding
of what influences their ability
to communicate. We will provide a step-by-step process
that can be easily applied and that will help participants
develop a pattern of behavior that supports the process
and maintain an attitude that promotes effective communication.
We at Porcupine Communications want to
share our wealth of knowledge and know-how. Our team
of professionals
have built a “Train the Trainer” program
that will prepare professional trainers, facilitators
and HR professionals
and others to best apply Roger’s book to their
organization’s
communication challenges.
The workshops utilize one
of the seven vital communications tools described in
Roger Hall’s book: listening.
Really listening. “We listen to people telling
their stories, and we each compare them to our own,” Hall
says. “By the strategic use of stories, we reach
all corners of the organization.” Listen to the
stories pour forth, and watch the porcupine’s
quills recede …
The “Train the Trainer” program
will also be available on video soon. Please contact
